## License.

When you buy a workbook from us (US workbook, Canada workbook, or the US + Canada
bundle), 2563171 Alberta Ltd. grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable
license to use the workbook inside a single business. "Single business" means you and
your direct employees and contractors operating under one legal entity. A VA, a partner,
or a co-founder working on the same Amazon seller account is covered.

Refresh files we ship under the same SKU (see <A href="#updates">§ 04</A>) are covered
by the same license, without additional payment.

<H3>Permitted</H3>

<LI>Internal use inside your business, on as many devices as you and your team use.</LI>
Quoting individual figures from the workbook in your own materials, blogs, videos,
    or client deliverables, with attribution to{" "}
    <span className="font-mono text-[14px]">fbasalesestimator.com</span>.
<LI>Citing the workbook as a source in research, presentations, or due diligence.</LI>

<H3>Prohibited</H3>

<LI>Reselling the workbook, sub-licensing it, or transferring your license.</LI>
Republishing the data tables, in whole or in substantial part, in any form. This
includes feeding the tables into another product, training a model, or making them
    available for download.
<LI>Sharing the file with parties outside your business.</LI>
  <LI>Removing or obscuring copyright notices.</LI>

## Refunds.

  We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund on every workbook purchase. Email{" "}
  <A href="mailto:support@fbasalesestimator.com">support@fbasalesestimator.com</A> within
14 days of your purchase date and we'll refund you in full. When the refund is
processed, Lemon Squeezy revokes access to the file from your original receipt URL.

After 14 days, all sales are final. There are no partial refunds and no refunds for
dissatisfaction with specific data points; if you think a cell is wrong, write to us
and we'll look into it for the next refresh.

There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no automatic renewal. Each
  purchase is one-time.

## Warranty disclaimer.

The workbook is reference data drawn from historical observations of Amazon's
monthlySold badge across sampled subcategories. It is not a forecast, not an
estimate of your sales, and not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Every
cell is dated and stamped with its sample size; you decide what to do with the
  information.

The data may be incomplete or out of date by the time you use it. Amazon's
monthlySold badge is a moving target. Subcategories shift, products are added and
removed, and underlying behaviour changes between snapshots. We make no promise that
any cell, multiplier, or distribution reflects current conditions in your specific
  market.

<Strong>To the maximum extent permitted by law, the workbook is provided AS IS,
without warranty of any kind</Strong>, express or implied, including warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or
  non-infringement.

You are solely responsible for commercial decisions made using the workbook,
including but not limited to: inventory purchases, minimum order quantities, capital
commitments, hiring, advertising spend, and supplier contracts. 2563171 Alberta Ltd.
is not liable for losses, lost profits, lost data, or any other damages arising from
your use of, or inability to use, the workbook.

<Strong>Liability cap.</Strong> To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total
liability under this agreement is capped at the amount you paid for the workbook. We
are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or
  exemplary damages.

You confirm you are purchasing the workbook for business purposes, not as a
consumer, and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of
the business that will use the workbook.

## Updates and refreshes.

We aim to refresh the workbook periodically as new monthlySold observations are
gathered. When we ship a refresh under the same SKU, you can re-download the new
version from your original Lemon Squeezy receipt URL at no additional cost. There is
no automatic email; the refresh is available the next time you revisit the receipt
  URL.

We make no specific commitment on refresh cadence. We may ship quarterly, less
  frequently, or pause refreshes. The original snapshot date is the version you bought;
  everything after is a courtesy.

If we change the SKU structure (for example, split the workbook into multiple
products or change the per-SKU contents materially), your existing license continues
to cover the original SKU's data. New SKUs are new purchases.

## Intellectual property.

2563171 Alberta Ltd. owns the copyright in the workbook, including the data
compilation, the schema, the methodology, and the written content of the methodology
page. You own your own work product that incorporates quoted figures from the
  workbook with proper attribution.

We retain all rights not expressly granted to you in <A href="#license">§ 01</A>.
"fbasalesestimator.com" and the wordmark are trademarks of the seller and may not be
used without permission, except to attribute quoted data.

## Privacy.

<H3>What we collect</H3>

<Strong>Buyer information.</Strong> When you purchase a workbook through Lemon
Squeezy, we receive your email address, name, and order details from Lemon Squeezy.
We do not handle or store your payment card information; that stays with Lemon
    Squeezy (the Merchant of Record).
<Strong>Lead information.</Strong> When you submit the free-sample form, we collect
    your email address.
    <Strong>Site analytics.</Strong> We use Vercel's first-party analytics, which logs
anonymised request data (referrer, user agent, country). Vercel Analytics itself
sets no third-party tracking cookies; ad pixels are described separately below.

<H3>How we use it</H3>

Deliver the product you purchased and the free sample you requested.
Send you a notification when we ship a workbook refresh that you can redownload.
Reply to support questions you send us.
Aggregate and anonymised analytics to understand site performance.

<H3>What we don't do</H3>

  <LI>Sell your personal information.</LI>
  <LI>Share with data brokers.</LI>
Run third-party tracking beyond the advertising pixels described below, and only
    with your explicit consent.
  <LI>Use your information to train machine-learning models.</LI>
<LI>Send marketing email beyond what you signed up for (purchase or sample request).</LI>

<H3>Advertising and analytics partners</H3>

We run ads on Reddit and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When the pixels are loaded
(see "How we decide whether to load advertising pixels" below), our site loads these
platforms' tracking pixels. The pixels share with the respective platform:

<LI>That you visited the site, and which pages.</LI>
Conversion events you trigger (sample request, purchase) along with the order value
    where applicable.
Your email address, hashed via SHA-256 ("Advanced Matching"). The platforms can
match the hash against their own account databases for measurement; they cannot
reverse the hash to read the plain email.
Your IP address and browser user agent on every page visit, collected automatically
as the Reddit Pixel loads from Reddit's CDN and used by Reddit to attribute the
    visit to an ad click.
Your IP address and browser user agent at the moment of a sample-request or
purchase, sent server-side via Reddit's Conversions API so the platform can match
the event back to the originating ad click.

We use this data for advertising measurement, attribution, and building "lookalike"
audiences of users similar to our actual customers. We do not share your unhashed
email, name, or other personal information with these platforms.

<Strong>Reject through the cookie banner or the "Your privacy choices" footer link
and the pixels never load.</Strong> Nothing about your visit is shared with these
platforms. The site works fully either way.

<H3>How we decide whether to load advertising pixels</H3>

We classify each visit into one of two tiers based on the country (and, within
Canada, the province) your request appears to come from (Vercel's GeoIP lookup on
  the inbound IP address):

<Strong>Opt-in tier.</Strong> Visitors from the European Union, the European
Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), the United Kingdom, and
Switzerland. The full list of country codes: AT, BE, BG, HR, CY, CZ, DK, EE, FI,
FR, DE, GR, HU, IE, IT, LV, LT, LU, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SK, SI, ES, SE, IS, LI,
NO, GB, CH. We also place Quebec, Canada in this tier, because Quebec's Law 25
treats technology that profiles or tracks you as off by default. In all of these
places, advertising pixels do not load until you explicitly Accept the cookie
    banner.
<Strong>Permissive tier.</Strong> Everywhere else, including the United States and
the rest of Canada (outside Quebec). Advertising pixels load by
default, unless you have already Rejected (in which case they stay off), or your
browser is sending the Global Privacy Control signal (see below), or you have
Rejected through the footer link. On your first visit you'll see a small
informational notice ("We use cookies for analytics and to measure ads.") with a
"Got it" dismiss button and a link to "Your privacy choices."

GeoIP is best-effort, not perfect. VPN or proxy traffic can be misrouted. If you
believe your tier is wrong for your jurisdiction, the "Your privacy choices" footer
link is always available and your choice there is authoritative.

<H3>Global Privacy Control</H3>

  We honor the <A href="https://globalprivacycontrol.org/">Global Privacy Control</A>{" "}
signal sitewide, in both tiers. If your browser is configured to send GPC (for
example, Firefox with "Tell websites not to sell or share my data" enabled, or
DuckDuckGo, Brave, or a GPC extension in other browsers), advertising pixels do not
load, regardless of region. This is broader than what California law strictly
requires; we apply it everywhere because the cost of honoring it is zero.

Exception: if you have explicitly clicked Accept on this site, that choice overrides
GPC for this domain (your explicit "yes" for us beats your browser-level default for
every site). To reverse that, open "Your privacy choices" in the footer and click
  Reject.

<H3>"Your privacy choices"</H3>

Every page on this site carries a "Your privacy choices" link in the footer. It
opens a small panel that shows your current state (Accepted, Rejected, or Not
chosen) and lets you flip it. Your choice is the authoritative override:

Accept causes advertising pixels to load on this site regardless of tier or GPC.
Reject keeps them off regardless of tier.
Not chosen means we follow your regional default (opt-in or permissive) and GPC.

Your stored choice is kept for 6 months. After that, the marker expires and we treat
your next visit as "Not chosen" again. If you are in the permissive tier and have
expired Reject state, pixels will resume loading by default; open "Your privacy
  choices" to Reject again.

<P>You can also opt out of personalised advertising at the platforms themselves:</P>

    <A href="https://www.reddit.com/personalization">reddit.com/personalization</A>

    <A href="https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/">youronlinechoices.eu</A>
Browser-level: enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser
settings; clear cookies for fbasalesestimator.com to re-show our consent banner.

<H3>Where it lives</H3>

Our email lists and transactional sends are operated by Resend (United States). Our
rate-limiting and idempotency data are stored in Upstash (United States). Our site is
hosted on Vercel (United States). Inbound support email runs through Cloudflare Email
Routing. By submitting your information, you consent to it being processed in these
jurisdictions, in addition to Canada where we operate.

<H3>Retention</H3>

We keep your information until you ask us to delete it, or until our legitimate
business need ends (typically the period during which you might still want a refresh
  of a workbook you bought). To request deletion, write to{" "}
  <A href="mailto:support@fbasalesestimator.com">support@fbasalesestimator.com</A> from
the email address you used to register or purchase.

<H3>Your rights</H3>

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under PIPEDA (Canada), Quebec's Law
25, the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and other privacy laws.
These commonly include the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal
  information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, write to{" "}
  <A href="mailto:support@fbasalesestimator.com">support@fbasalesestimator.com</A>. We
  respond within 30 days.

<H3>Children</H3>

The workbook is a business product. We do not knowingly collect information from
anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

<H3>Cookies and local storage</H3>

<P>We use a small number of values in your browser's local storage:</P>

    <span className="font-mono text-[14px]">fbase-theme</span> remembers your
    light/dark mode preference.
    <span className="font-mono text-[14px]">fbase-cookie-consent</span> (and its
    timestamp companion <span className="font-mono text-[14px]">fbase-cookie-consent-ts</span>)
remembers whether you Accepted or Rejected. The timestamp triggers a re-prompt
    after six months.
    <span className="font-mono text-[14px]">fbase-banner-dismissed</span> remembers
that you dismissed the small "We use cookies" notice on the permissive tier (by
clicking "Got it", or by starting to use the page). This is separate from consent
state: dismissing the notice is not the same as Accepting, and your consent state
remains "Not chosen" until you actually pick.

When the advertising pixels load, Reddit and Meta may set cookies on your browser
through their pixels (typically for advertising attribution, frequency capping, and
audience membership). If the pixels are not loaded (Rejected, GPC, or undecided in
opt-in tier), no advertising cookies are set. We never use first-party cookies for
  tracking.

## Governing law and disputes.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its
conflict of laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the
International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be brought exclusively
in the courts of Alberta, Canada, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of
those courts. If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining
  provisions remain in force.

If a provision conflicts with a non-waivable consumer-protection right granted to you
by your local law, the local law applies to that provision only. Everything else
continues to be governed by Alberta, Canada law.
